Julian is responsible for directing the activities of the data science team and helps develop proprietary machine learning solutions. He has more than eight years experience in analytics and data science (five in gaming) and strongly believes in combining the best of research and practice to deliver superior business impact.
Prior to joining Scientific Revenue, Julian built and headed the analytics and data science team of Wooga, the company behind hits such as Diamond Dash, Bubble Island and Jelly Splash. He regularly speaks at relevant industry and research conferences, ranging from Casual Connect in Belgrade and Tel Aviv to the Conference on Digital Experimentation at MIT. In his research, he collaborates with senior faculty at Stanford and Columbia University and co-authored numerous scientific publications on the application of machine learning in games.
Julian holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main and a M.Sc. in Economics from Humboldt University in Berlin, where he is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Economics, focusing on pricing of digital products.
